Workshop Details
Join Emma and Amy to design a flower relief wall tile, trinket tray or bowl using clay and blooms! Clay, flowers, tools, glaze, instruction and lunch included. Enjoy a lunch of your choice plus a botanical refreshment compliments of Hayfields Cafe.
When: June 26, 10:30-12:30pm
Cost: $200 per person

Workshop Background
We had the pleasure of collaborating at the Old Salem Farm Show, where Amy beautifully adorned the entrance of the VIP area with her stunning flowers and plants, perfectly complementing Emma’s ceramic horse sculpture. It was such a joy to see our work come together in that space—and even more fun to work together—that we decided to team up again for a special workshop experience!

Emma Tate Background
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Emma recently returned to the state after spending a decade in the Netherlands. A lifelong dressage rider, she moved abroad to pursue her riding career more intensively. She first learned hand-building techniques in college and quickly discovered that her passion for clay matched her love for horses. After a year of riding in the Netherlands, she moved to Amsterdam, where she naturally found her way back to clay. There, she began sculpting horses, merging her two deepest passions into a unique body of work. Her ceramic sculptures—both wall-mounted and free-standing—capture the strength, sensitivity, and spirit of the horse in a contemporary, textural form. For more information: www.emmatateceramics.com

Amy Parr Cilmi Background
With an extensive background in horticulture and floral styling, Amy turned a passion for flowers into a business. The Amy’s Flowers team at Hayfields Cafe in North Salem brings a sophisticated eye to each floral design. Amy also runs a large scale flower farm in North Salem that provides seasonal blooms for their designs. Amy is a proud member of the Rusticus Garden Club, The Garden Club of America and the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Grower.
